MUHAMMAD YUSUF TURNS 72

          At our university, an enlightenment discussion dedicated to the birth anniversary of Muhammad Yusuf, a brilliant representative of Uzbek poetry and the beloved poet of our people, was organized. Over the course of the event, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on the poet's meaningful life path, his rich creative heritage, and his invaluable contribution to the development of Uzbek literature. The participants particularly emphasized that Muhammad Yusuf's work is imbued with a people-centred spirit, and that his poems, which celebrate love for the Motherland, devotion to the homeland, respect for national values and human virtues, play an important role in the upbringing of today's young people. During the discussion, students recited the poet's famous poems from memory in an expressive manner, excerpts from his works were listened to, and lively debates were held on lines from Muhammad Yusuf's pen. This contributed to making the event even more meaningful and enriching in impressions. The meeting strengthened young people's love for the Motherland, their understanding of national identity, their devotion to spiritual values and their interest in literature. At the same time, it was of great importance in developing students' artistic thinking, raising the culture of reading and enriching their spiritual world. At our university, the regular organization of such enlightenment events, which serve the spiritual maturity of the younger generation, has become a noble tradition.
